The issuer will be National Australia Bank Limited, same as your current card. National Australia Bank Limited (‘NAB’) entered into an agreement with Citigroup Pty Ltd (“Citi”) last year to acquire the Citi consumer banking business in Australia. As of 1 June 2022, NAB is the provider of your product.

The PayPal Rewards Card will no longer be available from 16 October 2022. Existing eligible PayPal Rewards Card customers will be switched to a Citi-branded Classic Plus Card. The majority of your card features and benefits will remain the same, and you can use your Classic Plus Card to spend, and can earn 1 Citi reward Point per $1 spent on eligible transactions. Your fees and charges, including $0 annual fee, won’t change as a result of the switch.
Alternatively, you may choose to close your account. You will still be required to pay any outstanding balance owing. If you would like to close your account, you can do so by logging in to your online account or by contacting us. Please note, any outstanding points balance will be forfeited upon account closure so please redeem your points prior to account closure.

You can activate your card via PayPal Rewards Card Online. Log in to your PayPal account and select ‘PayPal Rewards Card’ then ‘Manage cards’, then ‘Activate’. Follow the prompts to enter the CVV number on the back of the card. You will need to enter the One Time PIN code sent to you via SMS. Once you enter this code, your card will be activated.

If you haven't activated your Classic Plus Card by 30 November 2022, your PayPal Rewards Card will be blocked and can no longer be used.
